Bio
The 1998 season ended on a sour note for Rachel as she tore the ACL in her right knee. It happened in the first round of the GLVC tournament. However, before the injury she contributed greatly to the cause. Rachel lead the team in:
Hitting percentage with .323
Block solos with 18
Block Assists with 55
She was 5th in hitting percentage in the GLVC this year.
Look for Rachel to comeback with a vengeance next year. She is ready to move from a finesse player to a power one.
Rachel made a huge transition in her game during 1997. She was voted the most improved player by her peers. Once where she was one of the nation kill leaders in Division III, she had to adjust to the demands of Division II. After that period of adjustment she won a starting position as a Middle Hitter and finished with the second best hitting percentage on the team.
