Jake Gleason was hired as the assistant coach for the Purdue Fort Wayne men's volleyball team prior to the 2025 season. He is the brother of Mastodon head coach Donny Gleason.
Gleason played three years of collegiate volleyball for NCAA Division III Nazareth. Gleason spent the last two seasons playing for Team LVC in the Volleyball League of America, winning the East Cup and the League Championship in 2023. He was the Girls 16-1s Head Coach at Paradigm Volleyball Club from 2017-24, where he was in charge of coordinating team travel and organizing team logistics. During the same time, Gleason was the varsity assistant coach for Pittsford Sutherland High School. He was responsible for the coordination of practice sessions, game preparation, scouting, and fundraising efforts, along with analyzing game film footage.
