Jon Diedrich was hired as a graduate assistant coach for the Purdue Fort Wayne men's volleyball program prior to the 2025 season.
Diedrich spent five seasons on the Arnie Ball Court, playing for Purdue Fort Wayne. In his five seasons with the Mastodons, Diedrich was a two-time AVCA All-America Honorable Mention (2022, 2024) and was a three-time First Team All-MIVA pick (2022, 2023, 2024). He played in 114 matches, the sixth-most in the program's history, during his time at Purdue Fort Wayne. Diedrich finished seventh in career kills in program history, with 1,485. Diedrich played professionally in Puerto Rico in the summer of 2024.
