MOREHEAD, Ky. - Freshman Patrick Kelley finished well at the Greg Palmer Eagle Classic hosted by Morehead State on Monday and Tuesday. Overall the Mastodons finished 7th in the eight team field with a 909. Evansville took the title of the classic with an 856.

Patrick Kelley finished tied for 12th after shooting a 220, just four over par. Kelley started off his first round with a 78 and then settled to hit a 70 (-2) and then a 72 on Tuesday.

The Mastodons will now prepare to host their first tournament on October 17-18 at Deer Track Golf Course. The men will host seven teams while the women will host eight teams.
