#15 Buckeyes Take 'Dons in Three

Columbus, OH - #15 Ohio State defeated the Mastodons 3-0 in Columbus on Tuesday. With the win the Buckeyes keep their undefeated record intact and take the 'Dons to 6-7.
The Buckeyes took the match by a final score of 12-30, 25-30, 26-30.
Cynara Martins led the 'Dons as the only lady in double figure kills with 11. Nicole Howell added seven kills.
Jessica Miller had three service aces, matching her career high. Peachy Jankowski dug up 16 balls while Jessica Dominiak added 19 assists for the night.
Claire Jackson added a block solo and block assist. The Buckeyes out blocked the 'Dons 7 to 4.
Ohio State was led by Danielle Meyer with 15 kills and Anna Szerszen with 12. Marisa Main added 43 assists and Ami Stevens had 16 digs.
The Mastodons will now head to the Michigan/Nike Challenge this Friday and Saturday. They will face #22 Michigan, Rice and New Hampshire.
Their next home match is the IPFW Invitational on September 22-23 at the Gates Center. The Mastodons will host Robert Morris, North Florida, South Dakota State and Texas Pan American.
