Fort Wayne, IN-IPFW men's cross country battled a sloppy course at Hefner Fields to finish 7th in the Cross Country Independent Championship.
UC Davis captured the men's title with a score of 35 points, led by the meet champion, Chris Ferren-Cirino.
Hunter Paris (Fort Wayne, IN/Carroll) led IPFW placing 10th in the race. Also scoring for IPFW were Andrew Gritzmaker(Fort Wayne, IN/North Side), Wes Kuhn(Fort Wayne, IN/Leo), Garrett Bradtmueller (Fort Wayne, IN/Northrop), and Mike Ridenour(Fort Wayne, IN/Northrop).
The men's team will travel to Bowling Green, OH on November 11, 2006 to compete in the NCAA Great Lakes Regional.
