
All Treats, No Tricks for 'Dons at Wright State

Dayton, OH - The Mastodons finished out their road schedule with a Halloween contest at Wright State. IPFW added their fifth win in a row in the three set win over the Raiders.
The 'Dons made it a quick night in Dayton with final scores of 30-24, 30-20, 30-23. IPFW took the first two games without ever giving up the lead or allowing the Raiders to tie the games up. In game three the Raiders came alive, making the 'Dons work for the win in the final set.
Rebekah Roehm was a force on the offense, leading the 'Dons with 13 kills at a .257 clip. Jessica Miller also hit double digits with 11 kills and a .360 efficiency. Cynara Martins just broke into the double digits with 10 kills.
Shannon Reuter hit a double-double with 37 assists and 11 digs.
Peachy Jankowski dug up 20 balls and added three service aces. Amanda Pfister also was on the defense, digging up 17 balls with two service aces.
Claire Jackson added four block assists in the three set match.
The Mastodons out-hit the Raiders .218 to .115 and out-blocked seven to four.
The Raiders were led by Jenny Schultz with 16 kills and 10 digs. Tara Geegan knocked down 10 kills while Lindsey Frank added 35 assists.
The Mastodons will finish out the regular season at home on Friday, November 3rd with a match versus inter-state rival, IUPUI. Seniors Claire Jackson, Amanda Pfister, and Nicole Howell will be recognized prior to the start of the match.
IPFW will then prepare for the Independent Tournament hosted by North Dakota State on November 10-11.
