'Dons Start Spring in Florida

JACKSONVILLE, Fla. - The IPFW Women's Golf team started the spring season with a trip to Jacksonville, Florida to participate in Butler University's North/South Women's Collegiate. The Mastodons took 14th in the 17 team field.
Alison Rathsman led the 'Dons with a 165 after two rounds of play. She finished tied for 29th. Overall the ladies finished 14th with a team score of 714.
Jacksonville University took top honors with a team score of 621 while Stephanie Hicks of Longwood was medalist with a 149.
The Mastodons will play in yet another Butler University outing next week on March 20-21. The Butler Invitational will be played at the Broadmoor Country Club.
