
Kelley Finishes in Top 10 at John Piper

BOWLING GREEN, Ohio - Sophomore Patrick Kelley finished tied for 7th at the Bowling Green State John Piper Invitational. After two rounds he was just three over par with a 147. As a team the Mastodons finished 7th in the field of fourteen.
The Mastodons finished with a team score of 612. Kelley led the 'Dons with his 7th place finish. Matt Fry also finished in the top 20. He was tied for 13th with a 150, six over par.
Eastern Kentucky took the title with a 575, one under par, as a team. Trey Bowling from EKU took medalist with a 137. Bowling was seven under par for the two round event.
The Mastodons will head to Ball State for the Earl Yestingsmeier Invitational on October 9-10 before hosting the IPFW Fall Classic at Deer Track on October 16-17.
