Ladies Secure Winning Season After Going 2-0 on the Road

Niagara, NY - The IPFW Women's Tennis team clinched another winning season after going 2-0 over the weekend. The 'Dons defeated Niagara University 4-2 and St. Bonaventure, 6-1.
Against Niagara, Ashley Coulson and Stacy Lish defeated Cremieux and Mathews at #1 doubles. Alexa Rang and Sachi Janek secured the 'Dons doubles point with their win at #3.
In singles, Janek kept the tempo going, winning at #1 in straight sets. Hanna Hager and Lisa Bartelheim won at #4 and #5 respectively in straight sets to secure the 'Dons win over the Purple Eagles, 4-3.
At St. Bonaventure, the teams of Coulson/Lish and Rang/Janek won again to put the 'Dons ahead, 1-0 in doubles.
Janek, Hager and Bartelheim once again won in straight sets. Coulson and Mollee Carpenter also defeated Bonnies in straight sets to secure the 'Dons win, 6-1. Lish fell in three sets at #3.
The Mastodons (13-10) will host Butler University on Tuesday, April 17th at 2 PM. IPFW will recognize senior Lisa Bartelheim at the match.
