Tulsa, OK - Oral Roberts junior guard Maria Camargo put on a clinic in the first four minutes of today's women's basketball game at the Mabee Center. Camargo had 10 early points as ORU outdistanced IPFW, 88-71 this afternoon in Summit League action.
Camargo had a monster afternoon. She finished with 21 points, 10 assists, and was two rebounds shy of a triple-double with eight boards.
The Golden Eagles opened up the game on a 10-0 run, but IPFW put together an 8-0 run of their own to get back into it. However, the Golden Eagles had it working on all cylinders taking a 45-27 halftime lead.
The Mastodons played ORU straight up in the second half, but couldn't overcome the huge first half deficit.

IPFW wasn't as efficient, hitting on only 37.7% of its attempts.
After winning four straight, IPFW has lost its last three to fall to 9-14, 6-6 in conference. The Mastodons will look to try to right the ship on Monday night at Centenary. Game time is 8:00 p.m.
