Purdue Fort Wayne played the game all Mastodon fans already know. The 'Dons shot 50 percent from the field in the first half, taking 14 attempts from 3-point range. They converted on five of those deep balls. The 'Dons finished with eight 3-pointers by the final horn.
The Mastodons held close with the Boilermakers through the first 16 minutes, but Purdue had an 8-0 run that put them up 11 heading into the halftime break.
Purdue took advantage of a size discrepancy that allowed the Boilermakers to shoot 71.0 percent in the second half and ultimately pulled away.

Both the Mastodons and the Boilermakers remain 0-0 after the exhibition game.
