Men's Golf Places 9th at North South Intercollegiate

JACKSONVILLE, Fla. - The IPFW men's golf team shot identical rounds of 309 to finish with a final score of 618, good for 9th place at the North South Intercollegiate held at the Jacksonville Beach Golf Club in Florida.
Junior Patrick Kelley (T-33) carded the overall low score for IPFW with identical rounds of 77 (154).
All five of IPFW's golfers were within five shots of each other. Junior Hartley Mcloud was just a shot back of Kelley at 155. He tied for 35th.
Senior Nathan Hoff and sophomore Tyler Haire each shot 157, tying for 40th.
Senior Andy Campbell was just two shots back of Hoff and Haire at 159. He finished tied for 45th.
Florida Gulf Coast took the team title with a score of 568. They were 15 shots better than second place Jacksonville.
FGCU's Michael Hart was low score with a 71-67-138. He won by three strokes.
The Mastodons return to action on March 24, taking part in the Butler Spring Invitational at the Prestwick Country Club.
