Pittsburgh, PA - The IPFW Mastodons completed a perfect weekend, sweeping Robert Morris University by a 7-0 score. Four of the singles matches went 6-0, 6-0, with the No. 1 doubles team also shutting out the Colonels with an 8-0 result.
Amy Recht (No. 1), Hanna Hager (No. 2), Mollee Carpenter (No. 4) and Ashley Huffine (No. 5) all won their singles matches by 6-0, 6-0 scores, with only Stacy Lish's 6-1, 6-0 result at No. 3 seeing the Colonels reach the scoreboard. Ashley Hunter (No. 6) picked up another team point in a default victory.
Recht and Lish teamed up for an 8-0 doubles victory at No. 1 before Rafaela Hadba and Huffine won 8-3 at No. 2. The No. 3 team of Hunter and Carpenter won by default.
The `Dons next take to the courts on Tuesday, April 1 when they travel to Valparaiso to face off against the Crusaders starting at 3:00 p.m.
