IPFW Runs Win Streak to Eight

Indianapolis, IN - The IPFW Mastodons are making quick work of their first Summit League schedule, going a perfect 4-0 at the league's Indianapolis cluster after a 5-2 victory over Oakland.
The `Dons swept the first two doubles matches, with the duo of Ashley Coulson and Stacy Lish winning 8-6 at No. 1 with Sachi Janek and Amy Recht winning 8-2 at No. 2.
Recht came back to win 6-1, 6-1 at No. 1 singles, improving her singles record to 4-0 on the week, winning every match in straight sets. Stacy Lish and Ashley Coulson won at No. 3 and No. 4 singles, respectively, the former by a 7-6 (7-5) 6-3 score and the latter 3-6, 6-3, 6-3. Hanna Hager completed her perfect week with a 6-1, 6-2 win at No. 5, moving her weekly record to 3-0.
The squad next takes to the courts on Wednesday, April 9 when the team travels to Valparaiso, Indiana, to face off against the Crusaders of Valparaiso University starting at 2:00 p.m. CST.
