Tulsa, OK - The Mastodon offense struggled to find their groove, as two late second half goals pushed the Oral Roberts Golden Eagles past IPFW, 2-0 in Summit League action.
For the sixth time this season, the 'Dons defense held their opponents scoreless in the first half of action. Junior keeper Donovan Dowling highlighted the period's defensive effort with three saves.
Oral Roberts sophomore Tyler Vining broke the game's tie in the 71st minute, as he capitalized with the score from teammates from Juan Chang and Jarrett Hamilton.
Fifteen minutes later, Hamilton would add two more points to his evening total, as he scored an unassisted goal to close out the 'Dons.
Junior Liridon Qafleshi led the IPFW offense with three shots, two of those on goal. Dowling closed the match with five saves.
The 'Dons will look to break a six-game winless streak Sunday as they travel to Conway, Ark. for a 12 p.m. matchup with the Central Arkansas Bears.
