Athens, OH- Sophomore Justine LeBlanc's first goal of the 2009 season wasn't enough for the IPFW women's soccer team, as the Ohio Bobcats scored in the 86th minute to win Sunday afternoon's match, 3-2. Freshman Lisa Underwood netted her third goal of the season off a second half penalty kick.

The victory moves Ohio to 2-4 on the season, while IPFW falls to 0-5-1.

With the score knotted at 0-0 after the first half, the Bobcats came out firing in the second frame, scoring the game's first two goals, both coming off back-to-back possessions in the 60th minute.

Down two scores with less than 30 minutes left in regulation, the `Dons offense came to life and responded in a big way.

IPFW reached the scoreboard midway through the second half after Kateri Till fired a corner kick towards the Bobcat goal, which found a charging LeBlanc, who headed the ball into the goal from 12 yards out. Six minutes later, the Bobcats committed a foul in the goal box, giving the Mastodons an opportunity to tie the game. With a swift kick, Underwood tied the game at 2-2.

The teams traded possessions the remainder of the game, and as it looked like the contest was headed into overtime, the Bobcats struck in the 86th minute, with a game-winning goal inside the Mastodon box. For the second time this season, a well-defended, late-goal ended IPFW's chance at victory.

The IPFW offense was led by LeBlanc, who fired two shots and scored in the contest. Underwood's successful penalty kick was her lone shot on the day, while Till, Brittni Roy and Danielle Bishop each fired a shot on Sunday.

IPFW goalkeeper Kristen McFadden made two saves, moving her shot total to 29 on the season.

The Mastodons return to action next Sunday, September 27, as the team hits the road to take on SIU-Edwardsville. Match time is set for 2:00 p.m. E.T.
