'Dons 14th After Day One at Cincinnati Fall Classic

CINCINNATI, Ohio - Senior Nikki LeRose fired a first round 89 to lead IPFW scorers in first round action at the 2009 University of Cincinnati Fall Classic.
LeRose shot a 46 on the front nine before rounding out her 89 with a 43 on the back half. She sits in a tie for 63rd place in the event.
Tosha Embry carded the next best Mastodon score, as the sophomore shot a 92 (48-44). Breanna Hatter and Jillian Joyce each turned in 104s and Alyssa Turney rounded out the 'Dons lineup with a 108 on the 6,186 yard, par 72 course.
The 'Dons currently sit in 14th place, trailing Summit League foe Oakland by one place in the team totals. Round two action tees off tomorrow morning from Elks Run Golf Course in Cincinnati.
