GREEN BAY, Wis. - In the first half of the 2010-2011 season, IPFW women's golf team wrapped up the first day of action at the Green Bay Golf Tournament in eighth place with a total of 367 at Green Bay Country Club.
The 'Dons had two players finish in the top 20. Sophomore Mastodon Alyssa Turney and freshman Taylor Lamphier had a five-way tie for 17th place after they fired the first round with a total of 86.
Maggie Talbert stands in a tie for 40th place with Chicago State's Diana Flores after posting a score of 94.
Breanna Hatter carded a 101 for 46th place, while Tosha Embry followed one spot behind with a total of 103 for 47th place.
The 'Dons will close out the tournament tomorrow (Sept. 14) in an early tee-time, 8:30 AM.
