HAMMOND, Ind. - IPFW women's golf team posted a score of 365 after its first round at the Chicago State Cougar Classic on Monday for 13th place at the Lost Marsh Golf Course.
The Mastodons will being their final round at the par-72, 5,900-yard layout behind the University of South Dakota.? IUPUI is currently in 1st place at 308 and a couple spots behind is Butler University in second place at 310.
Freshman Mastodon Taylor Lamphier tied with Ashley Garrison of Loyola University and Chicago State's Andrea Rosado for 52nd place after she finished with 14-over 86.
Maggie Talbert posted a score of 16-over 88 for a five way tie for 61st place, while Breanna Hatter will enter the second round tied for 79th place with North Dakota's Robin Hutchinson and South Dakota's Nicole Funck.
Tosha Embry currently stands at 83rd place after finishing with 96 and Meredith Holt is in 84th place with 107.
The third-annual CSU Cougar Classic will start tomorrow with a shotgun start beginning at 8:00 AM for Round Two.
