Toledo, OH - After being down 4-0 in the first half, IPFW rallied back with three-straight goals against Toledo, but fell short, 4-3, on Sunday afternoon at Scott Park in Toledo, Ohio.

With the loss, the 'Dons fall to 1-2 overall while the Rockets improve to 1-2-1.

UT was able to score two goals in the first half and then managed to put the ball into the back of the net two more times within the first five minutes of the second half to appear to have a comfortable 4-0 lead.

However, with time running down on the clock, the 'Dons managed to score three goals within a span of seven minutes with goals by juniors Rhea Proctor and Lisa Underwood.

In the 77th minute, Proctor was able to get her first goal of the season and the Mastodon's first of the game. Off of a 45-yard free kick from junior Tylar Allison, Proctor was able to get the ball past UT goalie Vicki Traven.

Just four minutes later, Underwood had her first goal of the season after a shot toward the back post from 20-yards out where the ball slid past Traven and into the goal in the 82nd minute.

At the 84:55 mark, senior Justine LeBlanc played a one touch pass to Allison, who then played a cross to Underwood. Underwood was able to beat the onrushing goalie and put the ball into the empy net to get the Mastodons within one of the Rockets.

Despite the late rally, the 'Dons were unable to get the equalizer and fell 4-3 to the Rockets.

With her two goals, Underwood moved into third spot in career points (42) and career goals (19) passing Aniki Apar (41 and 18) for both while Allison's two assists of the match ties the single-match record for IPFW.

UT led IPFW in shots (13-9) and fouls (14-6). Each team had four corner kicks.

The Mastodons return to action in a little less than two weeks when they face Niagara on September 9. Kick-off is set for 7 p.m. in Niagara Falls, New York.
