
IPFW Wins NACMA Award

WESTLAKE, Ohio - IPFW received a 2011-12 National Association of Collegiate Marketing Administrators (NACMA) best of Award in the Radio Commercial category.
"We are very excited about winning this award," said IPFW Director of Athletics Tommy Bell. "It shows that there was a fantastic effort from the University Publications Office, led by Jack Patton, and also from students, coaches, staff, and administrators that were surveyed. This is a huge win for the university, and the increased brand awareness of IPFW Athletics."
The winning advertisement, which you can listen to HERE, promoted the men's volleyball team's game against defending NCAA Champion Ohio State, a match that drew over 1,100 fans in a four-set loss to the eighth-ranked Buckeyes.
The Nelligan Sports Marketing office of General Manager Brian Teter and Director of Marketing Zack McKay received the award at the 2012 NACMA Convention in Dallas, Texas on June 26. .
