Pack Paces 'Dons at Indiana Intercollegiates

WOMEN'S RESULTS
BLOOMINGTON, Ind. - Behind a top-six pack time of less than 20 seconds, the IPFW Mastodons placed fourth of eight Division I teams at the Indiana Intercollegiates.
IPFW had 135 points for the race, as Indiana took home the team title with 21 points. Purdue (55) and IUPUI (108) finished just ahead of the 'Dons, while Indiana State (136), Evansville (159), Butler (161), and Ball State (193) closed out the eight teams in the Division I field.
Pacing the Mastodons was senior Julie Jeszenszky, who placed 29th in a time of 19:19.47, with Amaya Ayers finishing two spots behind in a time of 19:21.24 for the 5,000-meter course.
Tiffany Rauch took 37th in a time of 19:30.76, as Rachel Zachar and Brittany Beard finished directly behind in times of 19:31.78 and 19:36.26. Jordan Tomecek took 41st in a time of 19:37.56 and Kayla Boyes 67th in a time of 20:06.72. Running outside of the top-seven was Andrea Bell (90th/20:30.74) and Emma Manchess (100th/20:44.80)
Competing in the open race, Kaitlyn Simmons ran to a time of 20:50.79, placing 21st, while Rachel Kacer ran a time of 21:02.79, for 25th. Karson Rowe (33rd/21:39.83), Alexa Brown (47th/22:30.15), McKayla Keating (49th/22:36.81), and Cheryl Morris (58th/23:09.27) closed out the Mastodons competing in the event.
The Mastodons return to action on October 4, when the squad runs in the Notre Dame Invitational.
