IPFW Student-Athletes Earn 93 Commissioner's List Honors

ELMHURST, Ill. - The IPFW student-athletes earned 93 selections to the Summit League Commissioner's List of Academic Excellence, announced by the Summit League office on Tuesday, June 30.Â
In order for a student-athlete to be selected to the Commissioner's List of Academic Excellence, the student-athlete must carry a 3.00Â or better cumulative GPA, used a year of eligibility and previously completed one academic year at the nominating institution.
The Summit League also recognized Team Academic Achievement Awards in each sport based on percentage of list-eligible student-athletes on the Commissioner's List. IPFW and Omaha each had a league-best five teams claiming individual sport honors, while South Dakota earned four. A total of 10 institutions captured at least one sport award. The IPFW sports that earned the team honors include men's golf, women's golf, women's soccer,women's tennis, and men's cross country.
