
Keller Leads Mastodons On Final Day

JACKSONVILLE, Fla. - The IPFW women's golf team carded a team score of 329 in the final round of the Bulldog Florida Invitational to finish in eighth place with a two-day score of 667.
Hosted by Butler University at the par-72 Windsor Parke Golf Club, the course was played at 6,003 yards. Western Michigan and Ball State finished to tournament tied with scores of 631. Ball State earned the win based on a better fifth-player score. Kelsey Sear also of Ball State captured the individual medalist honors by one stroke with a final score of 6-over-par 150.
Brenna Sherwood led the way for the Mastodons in a tie for seventh place with a 36-hole score of 157. Finishing the tournament tied for 26th with a two-day score of 165 was Madison Chesnutt. Candi Keller shot a team-low 78 in the final round to jump 15 spots from day one and finish in 37th place with a 170. Carding a final score of 175 was Jenna Kurosky and finishing tied for 43rd place. Rounding out the team scoring for the 'Dons was Paige Bird in 55th place with a combined score of 191.
Individually, Abigail Carlsen finished tied for 39th, shooting a final total of 172. Hannah Jennings wrapped up the week with a 206 to finish 58th overall.
IPFW will take two weeks off before returning to action on March 27 for the two-day Saluki Invitational.
