FORT WAYNE, Ind. - The Fort Wayne women's soccer team is back in action on Thursday (Aug. 25) in a non-conference match at Warrior Athletic Field at Indiana Tech as they take on the Saint Louis Billikens.

Fort Wayne looks to get its second win of the season after winning 2-0 over Eastern Illinois on Sunday (Aug. 21). Senior Malissa Hofmeister scored the first goal of the game less than a minute into the second half, assisted by freshman Chloee Foor. About 18 minutes later, Foor scored a goal of her own, making her season total a league leading two.
FOOR WINS SUMMIT LEAGUE WSOC OFFENSIVE POTW
Chloee Foor earned Summit League Women's Soccer Offensive Player of the Week (Aug. 22) by contributing two goals and an assist in her first two collegiate appearances. Foor scored the only goal in the 2-1 overtime loss at Western Michigan, assisted in the first goal and scored the second against Eastern Illinois.
SCOUTING THE BILLIKENS
Saint Louis enters the game on Thursday 1-0, picking up a 3-1 win over Kansas State on Friday (Aug. 19). The Billikens scored in minutes 19, 39 and 62 against the Wildcats. This was Kansas State's first intercollegiate contest for the brand new women's soccer program.
SCHEDULE
The Mastodons, in addition to their strenuous Summit League schedule, face off against a challenging non-conference slate that includes teams from the Big East (Butler), Mid-American Conference (Ball State, Bowling Green, Western Michigan), Atlantic 10 (Saint Louis), Horizon League (Youngstown State), and Ohio Valley (Eastern Illinois).
