Women's Volleyball Falls in Final Match of Invitational

BOWLING GREEN, Ohio - The Fort Wayne women's volleyball team dropped its final match of the BGSU Invitational to Northern Kentucky 3-0 (25-21, 25-21, 25-20).
Natalie Seiler led the Mastodon attack with a team-high 10 kills on 10 attempts for a perfect 1.000 hitting percentage. Nicole Rightnowar added eight kills while Lauren Hoffman had seven. Madison Jaqua dished out 31 assists to lead the 'Dons. Defensively, Olivia Hahn made a team-high 13 digs while Hoffman and Natasha Medic each finished with a match-high three blocks.
In the first and second sets, Fort Wayne fell behind 3-0 and were unable to overcome the early deficits. The Mastodons tied the score five different times in the third set, but the 'Dons could not take a lead as they dropped the final frame and the match.
Seiler was named to the All-Tournament Team.
Fort Wayne returns home to face Eastern Michigan on Tuesday (Sept. 6) at 6 p.m.
