The Mastodons are in the middle of a four-game stretch of contests all part of the Adolph Rupp Classic. Fort Wayne's games at UIC, Kentucky and East Tennessee State are all in the event, as well as Fort Wayne's home game with Delaware State last Wednesday.
SCOUTING THE BUCCANEERS
The Bucs have losses to Northern Kentucky, Kentucky and Troy on the season. They defeated Savannah State and Delaware State.
THE SERIES
This is the first ever meeting with ETSU and Fort Wayne. The 'Dons have played two current SoCon teams before. Defeating UNC Greensboro 64-58 on Nov. 28, 2015 and falling at VMI 106-95 on March 22, 2014 in the CIT.

Fort Wayne freshman Jairus Stevens' father Barry Stevens was drafted by the Denver Nuggets and reached the NBA as a member of the Golden State Warriors in 1993. Barry Stevens finished his collegiate career (1982-85) as Iowa State's leading scorer in program history with 2,190 points. Now only Jeff Grayer (1985-88, 2,502 points) and Georges Niang (2013-16, 2,228 points) rank higher.

Tionne Rollins (Tallahassee, Fla./Lincoln High School) signed a National Letter of Intent to join the Fort Wayne men's basketball program for the 2018-19 campaign. Rollins (6-2, guard) helped Lincoln High School to a Class 8A State Runner-Up finish in 2017. He was named First Team All-Big Bend. In the classroom, Rollins is an honor roll student with a GPA above 4.00. He comes from a basketball family as his mother Demetria played at Florida A&M from 1989-93.
POTW FOR SCOTT
Bryson Scott took home Summit League Player of the Week on Nov. 13. The senior from Fort Wayne, Ind. averaged 26.0 points, 6.5 rebounds, 5.0 assists and 3.0 steals in 26 minutes per game in games against Oakland and Defiance. He scored a career-high against Horizon League foe Oakland. It was his second career Summit League Player of the Week honor.
