SIUE enters Sunday's game 1-5. Their lone win on the season came 80-76 at Stetson. The Cougars fell 69-67 at Summit League member Western Illinois.
THE SERIES
The Mastodons own a 12-6 series lead over the Cougars. The two clubs were conference rivals in the Great Lakes Valley Conference during the Division II era for both clubs. Fort Wayne has won eight consecutive meetings, including all seven since 2009 when both schools were NCAA Division I members.

Bryson Scott scored 34 points against Detroit Mercy on Nov. 28. It matched the most by a Summit League player this year. It was also the most points by a 'Don since Max Landis scored 44 at South Dakota on Feb. 4, 2016. Scott's 34 points marked the most by a 'Don in a home game since Tyler Best scored 35 against Longwood in an overtime contest on Jan. 5, 2006.

Fort Wayne freshman Jairus Stevens' father Barry Stevens was drafted by the Denver Nuggets and reached the NBA as a member of the Golden State Warriors in 1993. Barry Stevens finished his collegiate career (1982-85) as Iowa State's leading scorer in program history with 2,190 points. Now only Jeff Grayer (1985-88, 2,502 points) and Georges Niang (2013-16, 2,228 points) rank higher.
JOINING THE 'DONS
Tionne Rollins (Tallahassee, Fla./Lincoln High School) signed a National Letter of Intent to join the Fort Wayne men's basketball program for the 2018-19 campaign. Rollins (6-2, guard) helped Lincoln High School to a Class 8A State Runner-Up finish in 2017. He was named First Team All-Big Bend. In the classroom, Rollins is an honor roll student with a GPA above 4.00. He comes from a basketball family as his mother Demetria played at Florida A&M from 1989-93.
POTW FOR SCOTT
Bryson Scott took home Summit League Player of the Week on Nov. 13. The senior from Fort Wayne, Ind. averaged 26.0 points, 6.5 rebounds, 5.0 assists and 3.0 steals in 26 minutes per game in games against Oakland and Defiance. He scored a career-high against Horizon League foe Oakland. It was his second career Summit League Player of the Week honor.
