SCOUTING THE MASTODONS
The Mastodons (16-9, 5-6 Summit) are looking to get back in the win column after losses to Denver and South Dakota in the past week. John Konchar's 2.68 assist/turnover ratio is the best in the Summit League and the 39th best in the country. Saturday's contest vs. Omaha is homecoming for the IPFW campus.
THE SERIES
Fort Wayne leads the all-time series 9-2. The 'Dons have won the last three meetings, including an 80-78 victory at Omaha earlier this year. John Konchar made a jumper with less than one second left to give the 'Dons the win. DeAngelo Stewart hit a 3-pointer a possession earlier to tie the game.
LAST TIME OUT
Fort Wayne led South Dakota on Wednesday at halftime 42-37, but saw the Coyotes out-score the 'Dons 56-40 in the second half to fall 93-82. Mo Evans became the program leader in 3-pointers with 248 career treys.
UP NEXT
Fort Wayne plays their final game of the year at the Allen County War Memorial Colisum on Wednesday (Feb. 15) when North Dakota State comes to Fort Wayne. Tip is set for 7 p.m.

The 'Dons are 5-6 in conference play this year but that doesn't tell the story of how close the competition has been. In each of their league losses, the 'Dons have held a lead in the second half. Play has been tight as Fort Wayne has scored 918 points whlie giving up 902 points in league play.
IN NATIONAL RANKINGS...
Fort Wayne ranks fourth in 3-pointers per game (10.8), fourth in total 3-pointers (271), sixth in scoring (87.5), eighth in 3-point field goal percentage (41.5 percent) and eighth in field goal percentage (49.8 percent).
FIFTH IS BLISS
Mo Evans picked up his 1,000th career point this year. He is the 13th player in program history to reach the plateau. He now owns 1,401 career points and ranks fifth all-time in scoring at Fort Wayne. He recently passed Ben Botts' 1,400 points to take fifth. Botts played for Fort Wayne from 2007-11 and is a current assistant coach for the 'Dons. Next up for Evans is fourth place Nick Wise. He scored 1,450 points.

Mo Evans is fourth in 3-point field goal percentage (48.2), 11th in the nation in made 3-pointers (82) and 14th in 3-point field goals per game (3.28).
SENSATIONAL SENIOR
Senior Brent Calhoun is making his senior year his best. He is averaging 7.7 points, 5.9 rebounds and 1.7 blocks per game. Each are on pace to be career bests.
