
Mastodons Finish Ninth at Bulldog Florida Invitational

JACKSONVILLE, Fla. - The Fort Wayne women's golf team carded a 344 on the final day of the Bulldog Florida Invitational to finish in ninth place with a two-day total of 694.
Host by Butler at the par-72, 6,003-yard Windsor Parke Golf Club, Stetson took home the team title with a 36-hole score of 616. Eilidh Watson also of Stetson captured individual medalist honors with a 3-over-par 147.
Madison Chesnutt led the Mastodons for the week carding a 167 to finish in a tie for 28th. Abigail Carlsen ended her week in a tie for 38th, shooting a 170. Monica Dorner and Jenna Kurosky finished one stroke apart with scores of 179 and 180, respectively. Dorner finished in a tie for 47th while Kurosky placed 49th. Rounding out the team scoring for the 'Dons was Paige Bird with a 182 to finish in 51st place.
Playing as an individual, Linnzie Richner carded the lowest round of the week for the Mastodons, shooting a 79 on the final day to finish in a tie for 36th with a 169. Candi Keller also competed as an individual and finished at 174 to tie for 43rd overall.
Fort Wayne returns to action March 13-14 for the WKU-USM Spring Break Shootout in Dade City, Florida.
