FORT WAYNE, Ind. – Fort Wayne women's soccer is set to square off against the Western Michigan Broncos on Sunday (Sept. 3) at 1 p.m.

SCOUTING THE MASTODONS (0-4-0, 0-0-0 Summit League)
The Mastodons enter their matchup with the Broncos 0-4-0, and are coming off a 1-0 loss to Horizon League foe Youngstown State on Friday (Sept. 1). The Mastodons are led in shots by freshman Jessica Schoenfeldt, who has seven.
SCOUTING THE BRONCOS (2-2-0, 0-0-0 Mid American Conference)
The Broncos come to Fort Wayne 2-2-0, with wins coming over two Horizon League foes: Oakland (3-1) and Wright State (1-0). WMU's two losses came to Big Ten opponents Indiana (4-0) and Ohio State (2-0). Four different Broncos have found the back of the net this season, however there have only been two total assists on those four goals.
WHEN WE LAST MET
The Mastodons and Broncos faced off last year to open the season. The Broncos took a 2-1 overtime win in Kalamazoo, Michigan, with then freshman Chloee Foor scoring the goal for the Mastodons. The Broncos then scored in the 85th and 92nd minute to take the win.
FIRST HALF FIGHTERS
The Mastodons have held its last three opponents scoreless in the first half of each contest. Detroit Mercy, Evansville and Youngstown State were all unable to score on the 'Dons in the first 45 minutes of play.
FRESH LEGS
Two freshmen, Jessica Schoenfeldt and Gabrielle Fanning, have started in all four contests for the Mastodons. Kailyn Wade came off the bench to play in the first three matches, and earned the start against Youngstown State.
LOOKING BACK
The Mastodons are coming off a 1-0 loss against a good Youngstown State team that is off to its best start in school history. The 'Dons kept the Penguins scoreless through 80 minutes of play.
UP NEXT
The Mastodons hit the road to face the Eastern Illinois Panthers. The 'Dons took a 2-0 victory over the Panthers last season in Westfield, Indiana. Both goals came from then freshman Chloee Foor.
