Men’s Cross Country Sets Multiple Personal Bests At Regional

TERRE HAUTE, Ind. – Four Purdue Fort Wayne men's cross country student-athletes set new 10K personal bests on Friday (Nov. 9) at the 2018 NCAA Great Lakes Regional hosted by Indiana State University.
As a team, the Mastodons took 25th (710 points), their best finish in the last three seasons.
Logan Kitchen led the way for the Mastodons. He was 111th with a career-best time of 33:08.8 for the all-league runner in his final race as a 'Don.
Sam Williamson took 145th (33:51.8), taking 145th. Sammy Moran recorded a personal best, stopping the clock in 34:02.7 for 149th. Alex Barton earned 157th (34:12.8). Robert Peck rounded out the Purdue Fort Wayne top five thanks to a personal-best time of 34:27.1 for 164th.
Kurt Unger (34:46.9) also had a personal best time, taking 172nd. Austin Rockstroh was 194th (35:59.6).
