He had three top-five career finishes and eight top-10 finishes. His season average of 75.17 as a senior was the lowest in program history at the time of his graduation.
Karpun started all 172 games over her four-year Mastodon career as a catcher. She ranks second in program history in slugging (.538), home runs (26) and doubles (34). She was named to the CoSIDA Academic All-District Second Team in 2010 as well as earning NFCA All-America Scholar-Athletes honors the same year. Karpun was selected to the 2010 All-Summit League First Team. She was picked to the 2008 and 2010 Summit League All-Tournament Teams and gathered four Summit League Offensive Player of the Week honors in her career.

He was named an All-GLVC Second Team selection in 2001. The 98 3-pointers he made in 2001-02, the Mastodons' first year in NCAA Division I, still stands as the third-most in a single season in team history.
