Holly Anderson Moves Up Leaderboard at Chippewa Invite

BIRMINGHAM, Mich. - Purdue Fort Wayne women's golf's Holly Anderson moved up the leaderboard on Tuesday (Oct. 22) at the Chippewa Invite with an 80-80-160 for a tie for 22nd-place finish. Anderson moved up 10 places from the first round.
Anderson used a pair of birdies on one and 17 to reach her second-day 80. She had nine pars on the day. Linnzie Richner had two birdies as well, as she carded a second-round 83 for a 162. She had birdies on eight and 13 to finish in a tie for 29th.
Emma Schroeder finished third on the team with an 85 for a two-day total of 167 for a tie at 43rd. She had a 38 on the back nine with a birdie two on hole 15. Sarah Lewis brought an 88 to the clubhouse for her second round, totaling 170 for a tie at 56th.
Kennedy Brooker rounded out the team scores with an 89 for a total of 173. She tallied five pars on her second day for a tie for 66th. Luiza Caetano competed as an individual, carding an 89 for a two-day total of 177. She finished in 75th place.
Purdue Fort Wayne finished 10th as a team with a 323-336-659 score. Western Michigan took home the team trophy with a two-day total of 613 (+37) Grand Valley State's Katie Chipman was the individual medalist, bringing in a 141 (-3).
The Mastodons have finished their fall season. They will begin their spring season on February 3 at the Mid-American Match Play, hosted by Bowling Green in Lakewood Ranch, Florida.
