Men's Volleyball Announces Schedule for 2021 Season

FORT WAYNE, Ind. - Purdue Fort Wayne men's volleyball head coach Ryan Perrotte announced the 2021 schedule for the Mastodons on Monday (Dec. 28).
The Mastodons' schedule consists of 14 MIVA matches, with most having two contests at one location on back-to-back days. The Mastodons will have a traditional home and home series with Loyola Chicago. At this time there are no non-MIVA matches scheduled for Purdue Fort Wayne.
Match dates and opponents are subject to change. Game times will be announced at a later date.
The season will open for Purdue Fort Wayne on February 5-6 at Ball State. Quincy will be the home opener for the Mastodons on February 12-13. After two matches with Lewis on the road (Feb. 19-20), the 'Dons will visit Loyola Chicago the following weekend for one match (Feb. 17). On March 12, the 'Dons and Ramblers will meet again for their second match, this time in Fort Wayne. The Mastodons will be at home for the two following weekends to host Ohio State (March 19-20) and McKendree (March 27-28). Purdue Fort Wayne will finish off the regular season on the road at Lindenwood (Apr. 2-3).
The MIVA tournament is set to begin on April 16.
Ohio State is the host of the 2021 NCAA Men's Volleyball Championship, which will take place on May 6-8. The winner of the MIVA Tournament will earn an automatic berth to the NCAA Championship.
