
Men's Basketball to Play in 2022 Cancun Challenge

FORT COLLINS, Colo. - The Purdue Fort Wayne men's basketball program will participate in the 2022 Cancun Challenge, the event's organizers announced on Wednesday (Nov. 24).
The games take place in the modified ballroom of the all-inclusive Hard Rock Hotel Riviera Maya, in a setting where teams and fans can walk from their rooms to the restaurants to the games. The Cancun Challenge also includes games played at host sites in the United States. The contests in Cancun will be played Nov. 22-23, 2022.
The Mastodons are one of seven teams secured for the eight-team event. The other six announced teams include: Auburn, Bradley, Liberty, Northwestern, Southern Miss and Winthrop. The event is organized by Triple Crown Sports.
