FORT WAYNE, Ind. - Purdue Fort Wayne women's volleyball will look to extend their six-match win streak on Monday and Tuesday when they face Cleveland State on the Arnie Ball Court.

Cleveland State is 4-4 this season, with a pair of wins over Green Bay to start the year then followed it up by splitting with Milwaukee and Oakland. They dropped two matches at Northern Kentucky. The Vikings are led by middle hitter Hannah Greene, who is averaging 3.00 kills per set and a .287 hitting per set. Greene was selected as one of the Horizon League Players of the Week on Thursday, along with Purdue Fort Wayne outside hitter Katie Crowe.

Purdue Fort Wayne and Cleveland State have only met four times in series history, but the Mastodons have never beaten the Vikings in Fort Wayne. CSU won the one contest in the Summit City 3-1. On Thursday, February 18, Katie Crowe was named one of the Horizon League Players of the Week for the third week in a row. Crowe led the Mastodons to two wins over Robert Morris by improving upon her league-leading kills per set average, as she finished the week with 5.83 kills per set. The senior hit .384 for the week and had 2.50 digs per set.
Offensive Juggernaut
Purdue Fort Wayne has become an offensive juggernaut in 2021. The Mastodons average 14.96 kills per set, which is first in the Horizon League and fifth in the country. The 'Dons are also 10th in the nation in assists per set (13.68) and 14th in hitting percentage (.294).
Is That Good?
Purdue Fort Wayne has hit over .300 in five matches this season. The 'Dons are 5-0 in those matches in 2021 and 26-0 under head coach Steve Florio's career when they hit at least .300.
