ROCHESTER, Mich. – The Purdue Fort Wayne women's volleyball team picked up their fourth win in five matches with a 25-14, 25-14, 25-17 sweep of Oakland on Tuesday (March 9). Madison Gates picked up a career-high 18 digs.
Set One
The Mastodons out-hit the Golden Grizzlies .286 to .050. Katie Crowe had six kills in the frame. The 'Dons scored 15 of their 25 points on kills.
Set Two
The Mastodons opened a quick 5-0 lead with blocks on three straight points. Ramei Jackson assisted on two of them and then had a solo on the third. Oakland took a timeout at 11-4, but it didn't help much as the 'Dons scored the next two points and never looked back.
Set Three
The 'Dons got out to a quick lead once again, taking an 8-2 lead when Alexandra Traciak picked up the only ace of the match for either team. The Mastodons won the contest on a Sydney Boerst kill.

- Madison Gates earned her seventh double-double of the season with 32 assists and 18 digs.
- Three Mastodons finished with double-digit kills. Crowe had 11 while Boerst and Madelyn Wurster each had 10 kills.
