FORT WAYNE, Ind. - The Horizon League office announced the 2021-22 women's basketball league schedule on Thursday, September 16.
In addition to the league schedule being announced, Purdue Fort Wayne has announced game times for non-league home contests: Manchester (Nov. 9, 5 p.m.), Evansville (Nov. 24, 2 p.m.) and Indiana State (Dec. 20, 7 p.m.).
The Mastodons' first season under head coach Maria Marchesano will feature 22 Horizon League games which begin on November 18 with UIC at home. The 'Dons will then host IUPUI and three-time League Player of the Year Macee Williams on November 20 before continuing non-league play.

After a home game against the Vikings on January 22, the 'Dons will travel to IUPUI (Jan. 27) and UIC (Jan. 29).
Four straight home games will highlight February, when the Mastodons welcome Northern Kentucky (Feb. 3), Wright State (Feb. 5), Robert Morris (Feb. 11) and Youngstown State (Feb. 13). The final road trip of the year will see the Mastodons head to Detroit Mercy (Feb. 17) and Oakland (Feb. 19). The 'Dons will close the season with a homestand against Green Bay (Feb. 24) and Milwaukee (Feb. 26).
All eligible teams will compete in this year's Horizon League Basketball Championships and eight teams – four men and four women – will look to advance to Indianapolis March 7-8 at the Indiana Farmers Coliseum located at the Indiana State Fairgrounds & Event Center.
The opening rounds of the Horizon League Basketball Championships will start on campus with early round matchups set for March 1 and 3. The top-four teams in the regular season will earn a bye to the quarterfinals and a home game on Thursday, March 3 with the winners advancing to the semifinals on March 7 at the Indiana Farmers Coliseum. Locations and times for Mastodon home games will be announced later. Season and individual ticket information will be announced soon.
