Mastodon Cross Country Receives USTFCCCA Academic Honors

FORT WAYNE, Ind. - The Purdue Fort Wayne men's and women's cross country programs earned 2021 United States Track and Field and Cross Country Coaches Association (USTFCCCA) All-Academic Team distinction, the organization announced this week.
The men's cross country team posted a cumulative grade point average of 3.38, while the women's team tallied a 3.31 GPA to garner the accolade.
To be eligible for the USTFCCCA All-Academic Team award a program must maintain a 3.00 GPA on a 4.00 scale. Additionally, the team must start at least five runners at an NCAA Regional.
The Mastodons were one of six Horizon League schools to receive the honors for both the men's and women's teams
