'Dons Wrap Up Day Two of League Championship

HOWEY-IN-THE-HILLS, Fla. - The Purdue Fort Wayne women's golf team wrapped up the second day of the Horizon League Championship on Monday (April 25), shooting a team score of 345.
The Mastodons were led by Casey Bunner for a second day, as she shot 79-85-164. On Monday, she turned in eight pars and a birdie on the 425-yard 12th hole. She is in a tie for 33rd.
Anna Olafsdottir and Kennedy Brooker tied for the second day in a row, both sitting at 80-87-167 through 36 holes. Olafsdottir got six pars to go down, while Brooker had six pars and a birdie on 10. They are tied for 37th.
Laura Caetano fired an 86, turning in a birdie on 15 to go with seven pars. She is tied for 39th after her 82-86-168. Her sister, Luiza Caetano, played in the lineup as the team's alternate on Monday, shooting a 90 with five pars.
As a team, the Mastodons' 321-345-666 puts them in ninth place. Oakland is leading the way with a 306-296-602, paced by Amalia Shahzan who is leading the 45-player field.
The final round's tee times will begin at 7:30 a.m. on Tuesday (April 26).
