Holder Leads Mastodons at Ball State

MUNCIE, Ind. – Nick Holder led the Purdue Fort Wayne men's golf team on Friday (Sept. 2) during the first day of the Earl Yestingsmeier Invite hosted by Ball State University.
Holder finished the day tied for 12th with 73-71-144.
The 'Dons are in 11th place after day one with 299-296-595.
Kasey Lilly matched Holder for the best round of the day by a Mastodon with 71 in round one and 77 in the nightcap for 148, tying for 38th.
Burke Pitz shot 76-75-151. Reece Compton improved four strokes during the second round for 79-75-154. Jadden Ousley shot 80-75-155.
The third and final round of the event is set for Saturday. The 'Dons are eight shots back of eighth place.
Wright State is in first place after day one.
