MILL SPRING, N.C. - Arny Dagsdottir of the Purdue Fort Wayne women's golf team finished day one of the Bright's Creek Women's Intercollegiate on Saturday (Feb. 25).
Dagsdottir is tied for seventh with her 79-80-159. Anna Olafsdottir shot 83-80-163 to tie for 12th. Laura Caetano was three shots back with an 83-83-166.
Natalie Papa (87-83-170) is tied for 25th and Luiza Caetano (94-77-171) is one shot back and is tied for 27th. Caetano's second round of 77 was the seventh-best in the field.
Purdue Fort Wayne is in fifth in the six-team event with a team score of 654. Presbyterian is leading the pack with a 634. Presbyterian's Sarah Boeteler is leading the individual race with a 149.
The final round of the Bright's Creek Women's Intercollegiate will tee off on Sunday (Feb. 26).
