Women's Golf Makes Quick Trip to Lady Jaguar Invitational

FORT WAYNE, Ind. - The Purdue Fort Wayne women's golf team will make a two-hour drive south to compete in IUPUI's Lady Jaguar Invitational this weekend.

About The Course
This par 72 layout features strategically placed bunkers, undulating greens and multiple water features and is a perfect example of modern golf architecture. From the intimidating championship tees to the more forgiving forward tees, this unique Pete Dye design was specifically designed with varying degree of difficulty.
Mastodon Lineup
Anna Olafsdottir, Arny Dagsdottir, Laura Caetano, Luiza Caetano and Natalie Papa will compete for the team score. Taylor Norman will play as an individual.
Last Time Out
The Purdue Fort Wayne women's golf team was just one shot behind Oakland and beat three other Horizon League programs at the Nevel Meade Collegiate on Tuesday (March 21). Oakland, who was picked to finish second in the Horizon League, shot 632 to place fifth. The Mastodons were one shot back with a 633. The 'Dons beat Cleveland State (638), Northern Kentucky (652) and Detroit Mercy (653). Purdue Fort Wayne's second round of 307 was the second-best in the field on Tuesday, only behind Central Michigan's 305.

The Mastodons will turn their attention to the Horizon League Championship, which will be in Howey-in-the-Hills, Florida on April 23-25.
