EUGENE, Ore. – Purdue Fort Wayne's Austin Hall earned second in the 10K on Friday (July 7) evening at the USATF U20 Outdoor Championships.
Hall recorded a time of 32:31.92. The Columbia City, Ind. native ran in the top three the entire race.
"I am extremely proud of Austin and all of the hard work he has put in since first stepping on Purdue Fort Wayne's campus," Purdue Fort Wayne cross country head coach/assistant track and field coach Aaron Combs said. "The USATF U20 Championship was the culmination of many months of quality work. He has set the bar high for what it means to be a Mastodon and has shown future generations what is possible when you aim high and are consistent in training."
Only Ethan Coleman from Notre Dame bested Hall on Friday in Eugene.
