
Multiple Top 10 Performances as 'Dons Win Home Event

FORT WAYNE, Ind. – The Purdue Fort Wayne men's cross country 5K top 10 performers list saw four new times after Friday's (Sept. 1) Mastodon Alumni Opener.
Three Mastodons saw their personal records drop below 16 minutes. Jarred Neff improved his personal record to 15:39.5 with his fourth place finish. He's also now third in the school's performers list. Nicholas Mills' new top time is 15:47.1 and now ranks sixth in school history after Friday's sixth place finish. Harrison Niswander was close behind at 15:48.4 and was seventh in both Friday's race and the school record book.
In addition to those three personal records, three more 'Dons earned personal bests on Friday. Kehinde Oladapo finished ninth overall with his new PR of 16:03.3 to take 10th in the school's top 10. Cory Waldron dropped his personal best to 17:18.7 and Jack Mills' did the same with his new personal best of 17:19.9.
Austin Hall finished in eighth place with a time of 15:59.7. He was the fourth of five Mastodons in the top 10 of Friday's race.
Three 'Dons made their collegiate debuts on Friday. Jackson Marshall finished 26th (16:52.8), Andrew Arnos finished 27th (16:53.5), and Noah Shook finished 50th (18:14.9).
Nathan Mills finished 19th (16:35.7), Kobe Milledge finished 42nd (17:37.2), and JT Hodges finished 46th (17:37.2)
The 'Dons won the event with 24 points. Trine (32) came in second.
The Mastodons will run again at the Jaguar Invitational hosted by IUPUI on Sept. 15.
