Harrison Niswander Breaks Program 8K Record at Bradley

PEORIA, Ill. - Harrison Niswander broke the Purdue Fort Wayne men's cross country record on Friday (Oct. 18), leading the Mastodons past four Horizon League programs at the Bradley Pink Classic.
Niswander earned 28th with his record-breaking time of 24:20.5. Nicholas Mills was the next Mastodon to cross the finish line, placing 116th (25:11.8). Austin Hall finished 145th (25:27.1) and Nathan Mills placed 147th (25:27.6). Marcus Ridge ran a personal best 25:56.1 for 195th place to round out the Purdue Fort Wayne top-five.
Kobe Milledge ran a time of 25:57.21 to place 198th. Boden Genovese finished 224th (26:26.69). Colten Gasson placed 252nd (27:09.53)
The Mastodons finished with 510 points, taking 19th out of 29 teams. IU Indianapolis earned 10th (248), Green Bay placed 20th (510), Wright State finished 23rd (590), Milwaukee earned 25th (631) and Northern Kentucky placed 26th (715).
Purdue Fort Wayne had four runners compete in the men's white race. Colin Gasson was the first Mastodon to cross the finish line with a personal best time of 26:48.8, earning 63rd. Andrew Arnos ran a personal best 26:54.6 to place 67th. Jack Mills also ran a personal best, with a time of 27:41.9 to finish 100th. Tyler Godwin finished 110th (28:09.4).
Purdue Fort Wayne will take to the course next in Green Bay for the Horizon League Championships (Nov. 2).
