Mastodon Men Sixth at #HLXC Championships

GREEN BAY, Wis. - The Purdue Fort Wayne men's cross country team placed sixth at the 2024 Horizon League Championships on Saturday (Nov. 2). The event was hosted by Green Bay at the Shorewood Cross Country Course.
Harrison Niswander was the first Mastodon to finish, completing the course in 25:06.2 for 17th place. Austin Hall was the next Mastodon to cross the finish line, earning 24th (25:37.2). Nicholas Mills placed 34th (25:56.6). Kobe Milledge finished in 43rd with a time of 26:07.5. Nathan Mills completed the Purdue Fort Wayne top-five finishers in 48th (26:15.1).
Colten Gasson finished in 52nd with a time of 26:19.5. Marcus Ridge placed 64th (26:32.8). Boden Genovese finished 76th (26:47.9). Colin Gasson placed 95th with a time of 27:31.2. Andrew Arnos finished 100th (27:43.5)
Purdue Fort Wayne earned 155 points, placing sixth in the meet. Youngstown State won the meet with 26 points, IU Indy took second with 74 points. The 'Dons finished five points out of a top five finish after Oakland took fifth with 150 points.
Both men's and women's teams will travel to Norton, Ohio to race in the NCAA Great Lakes Regional. The Mastodons will run at Silver Creek Metro Park on November 15 for the event.
