Riley Tate and Ava Genovese Finish Top-10 in Program History at Bradley

PEORIA, Ill. - Riley Tate and Ava Genovese both recorded top-10 marks in program history on Friday (Oct. 18) at the Bradley Pink Classic, leading the Mastodons past all three Horizon League foes in the field.
Purdue Fort Wayne had 10 runners set personal records.
Tate was the first Mastodon to cross the finish line with a time of 21:05.3 for 29th place in the field. This mark is good for fifth in program history. Genovese placed 77th (21:43.5), which was good for seventh in the Mastodon record book. Haylee Hile finished 121st (22:10.1). Lydia Carrell ran a time of 22:20.5, placing 138th. Faith Allen locked in the Mastodons top-five in 168th (22:47.0).
Faith Norris ran a time of 22:50.6 to finish 170th. Kynzlei Bassett placed 172nd (22:51.41). Bella Hodges finished 224th (23:40.27). Mercedes Sarver finished 227th (23:43.64)
The Mastodons earned 499 points and a 17th place finish out of 32 teams, leading all Horizon League competition. Milwaukee took 22nd (580), Northern Kentucky finished 31st (903) and Green Bay placed 32nd (966).
Purdue Fort Wayne had two runners compete in the women's white race, both setting personal bests. Amanda Williams ran a time of 24:18.57 to earn 76th. Haley Sponaugle placed 83rd at a time of 24:30.65.
Purdue Fort Wayne will take to the course next in Green Bay for the Horizon League Championships (Nov. 2).
